Vow Renewal
Vow Renewal in Zanzibar: Everything You Need to Know

You already said "I do." Maybe 5 years ago, maybe 25. And now you want to say it again — somewhere that feels nothing like the first time.
What Is a Vow Renewal, Exactly?
A vow renewal is a ceremony where you and your partner reaffirm your commitment. There's no legal component — you're already married. So there's no paperwork, no officiant requirements, no bureaucracy.
Who Does This?
- Milestone anniversaries — 5th, 10th, 25th.
- Couples who eloped — they always wanted something more intentional.
- Second chances — couples who went through a rough patch.
- Couples who never had the wedding they wanted — COVID, budget, family drama.
- Surprise renewals — one partner plans it as a surprise.
What Does the Day Look Like?
The Ceremony (30–45 minutes)
You walk to the setup — usually barefoot, usually smiling. Our ceremony leader welcomes you, says a few words, and then it's your turn.
Photos (45–60 minutes)
After the ceremony, we do a photo session — on the beach, in the water, walking along the shore. 50 professionally edited photos delivered within a week.
How Much Does It Cost?
Our Anniversary / Vow Renewal package starts at $500 and includes flower canopy, ceremony leader, and 50 edited photos. Most couples with dinner and drone footage spend about $900–$1,100 total.
Best Time of Year
- June – October — dry season, clear skies.
- December – February — hot and mostly dry, perfect for sunset ceremonies.
Why Zanzibar?
Because it's not Hawaii. It's not Bali. Zanzibar has a raw, unspoiled beauty that feels genuinely special. Plus, it's affordable.
